Overview

The Tisas PX-9 Tactical Comp is a competition-oriented striker-fired 9mm pistol introduced for 2026 as the flagship of the PX-9 2.0 comp lineup. It builds on the polymer-framed PX-9 platform with a 5.1-inch threaded, compensated match-grade barrel, an RMR optic cut, an aluminum flat-faced trigger, and an extended aluminum magwell. Ambidextrous controls, aggressive slide lightening cuts, and a deep 20-round capacity make it geared toward USPSA-style action shooting.

Distinct from the shorter PX-9 Carry Comp; ships with 18- and 20-round 226-pattern magazines. Uses the SIG P226/P229-pattern magazine family.

Background

Tisas leaned hard into the budget-comp craze of the mid-2020s, putting factory compensators and optic cuts on sub-$500 pistols at a time when comparable American comp guns cost twice as much.
