Overview
The Traditions Deerhunter is a .50 caliber muzzleloading rifle marketed by Traditions Performance Firearms as a lightweight, affordable entry-level black powder hunting rifle. It uses a 24-inch octagonal barrel with a 1:48 twist that accurately fires patched round balls, full bore-size conicals, and saboted bullets. Offered with either percussion cap or flintlock ignition and a synthetic or hardwood stock, it features a crisp hunting trigger, adjustable fiber-optic sights, a synthetic ramrod, sling swivel studs, and a receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
