Overview
The Traditions Vortek StrikerFire is a .50 caliber break-open inline muzzleloading rifle introduced in 2014. It replaces the conventional hammer with a sliding StrikerFire cocking/de-cocking button that separates the striker from the No. 209 primer until the shooter is ready to fire, improving safety and clearing room for scope mounting. The rifle pairs an ultralight 28-inch chrome-moly barrel with a synthetic Monte Carlo stock, a two-stage TAC2 trigger set around two pounds, an Accelerator Breech Plug for loose or pelletized powder, and a Cerakote finish.

Notes
The StrikerFire button glows orange when cocked and can be safely de-cocked without discharging. Later VAPR models use a faster 1:24 twist barrel to stabilize high-BC bullets, while the LDR is a long-range configuration.
