Overview
The TriStar Viper G2 is a gas-operated semi-automatic sporting shotgun imported by TriStar Arms and manufactured in Turkey. Introduced around 2010 as the second generation of TriStar's popular Viper line, it offers a value-priced gas autoloader with a 3-inch chamber, chrome-lined barrel and chamber, vent-rib barrel, and a set of three Beretta/Benelli Mobil-style screw-in choke tubes. It is available in 12 and 20 gauge with synthetic, walnut, and camouflage finishes, and is widely used for hunting and clay sports.

Weight runs about 6.8 lb; 26-inch and 28-inch barrel options are offered (28-inch gives roughly 48-inch overall length). Standard capacity is 5+1 with a shot plug included. Ships with IC, M, and F Mobil-style chokes. The primary safety is mounted on the back of the trigger guard. TriStar tests the Viper G2 to 5,000 rounds and backs it with a five-year warranty.
