Overview
The TriStar Viper Max is a gas-operated semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun built in Turkey and marketed in the United States by TriStar Arms. Chambered for shells up to 3.5 inches, it uses a self-regulating dual-piston gas system, shipping with both light and heavy load pistons so it cycles everything from light target loads to heavy waterfowl magnums. It features an aluminum receiver, chrome-lined vent-rib barrel threaded for Beretta/Benelli Mobil choke tubes, and a synthetic stock with rubber over-molding, typically finished in waterfowl camouflage.
