Troy Industries · Carbine · In Production · 2010

Overview

The Troy Patrol Rifle (TPR) is Troy Industries' duty carbine, built from law-enforcement and military-proven components with an emphasis on ergonomics, reliability, and accuracy. Offered with either a 16-inch barrel or a 14.5-inch barrel with a pinned-and-welded muzzle device to reach the 16-inch minimum overall length, the TPR is chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:8 right-hand twist. It is fed from standard 30-round magazines and runs a direct-impingement gas system. Standard equipment includes the TROY Gen2 SOCC M-LOK rail, a TPRS three-prong flash suppressor, the TROY Pneuma ambidextrous charging handle, a B5 stock, an Ergo SureGrip, and a TROY standard safety. Higher-trim configurations add a TROY angled foregrip and the Super Grade trigger group. The TPR represents Troy's core fighting-rifle philosophy refined over two decades of supplying special operations and police units.

Background

Troy markets the Patrol Rifle line with the claim that for over 20 years the company has been a top choice of special operations and law enforcement units, owing much of that reputation to its rail and sight components that became standard upgrades on issued M4 carbines.
