Overview

The Troy SPC-A4 16" Gen2 SOCC is a lightweight AR-15 carbine that headlines Troy Industries' A4 Defender line. It mounts a 16-inch mid-length barrel chambered in 223 Wylde (also offered in 300 AAC Blackout) with a 1:8 right-hand twist, tipped with the TROY TPRS three-prong suppressor-compatible flash suppressor that accepts Troy's line of silencers. The defining feature is the second-generation 12.5-inch SOCC M-LOK handguard, which uses Troy's quad-lock mounting system to resist point-of-impact shift under hard use. The rifle ships with Troy M4 front and round rear folding BattleSights, a B5 Bravo stock, an A2 grip, and the TROY Super Grade trigger group featuring an EDM-cut S7 tool-steel disconnector for a clean, repeatable reset. Forged 7075 aluminum construction with mil-spec anodizing keeps it durable while remaining service-rifle light.
