Overview

The Troy Long Rifle (TLR) MK11 is an AR-10-pattern precision rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO/.308 Winchester, engineered for discerning marksmen. It uses an 18-inch barrel with a 1:10 twist tipped by the TROY A102 flash hider, and a 4.5-pound two-stage trigger for precise shot release. The receivers are machined from billet 7075 aircraft aluminum and finished in black Type III hard-coat anodizing. The rifle wears a TROY 15-inch M-LOK Battlerail, a hard-chrome bolt carrier group, a TROY H2 enhanced buffer, the TROY Pneuma ambidextrous charging handle, a B5 Enhanced SOPMOD stock, and an Ergo SureGrip. It ships with TROY 45-degree offset sights and a Condition 1 hard case with foam. The MK11 designation evokes the SR-25/MK11 semi-automatic sniper system that the platform is modeled after.

Background

The TLR MK11 name references the U.S. Navy's Mk 11 Mod 0 sniper rifle (a Knight's Armament SR-25 derivative), signaling Troy's intent to deliver a semi-automatic precision .308 in the same tradition.
