Also known as: Truvelo CMS .50 BMG, Truvelo Counter Measure Sniper 12.7mm
Overview
The Truvelo CMS 12.7x99mm is a bolt-action anti-materiel sniper rifle designed and manufactured by Truvelo Armoury of South Africa as the heavy-caliber member of its modular Counter Measure Sniper (CMS) family. Chambered for the 12.7x99mm NATO (.50 BMG) cartridge, it is fed from a detachable 5-round box magazine and fitted with a 29-inch (737mm) free-floating stainless-steel barrel topped by a high-efficiency muzzle brake. The rifle uses a foldable stock for compact transport, a fully adjustable recoil assembly and grip, STANAG Picatinny rails for optics, and a removable bipod, giving it long-range precision against light-materiel and vehicle targets out to roughly 1800 meters. Like all Truvelo sniper rifles it is hand-built and individually accuracy-tested before delivery.

Background
South Africa's isolation under arms embargoes bred a self-reliant precision-rifle industry, and Truvelo answered by building a single modular chassis that scales from a 6.5mm target rifle all the way up to a 20mm cannon-caliber anti-materiel gun. The 12.7x99mm CMS sits in the middle of that ladder, delivering .50 BMG reach in a hand-built platform tuned for counter-materiel work.
