Overview
The Typhoon F12 is a gas-operated, magazine-fed semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun built on AR-15 ergonomics. Introduced at SHOT Show 2019, it pairs a T6 7075 hardened-aluminum upper and lower receiver with a 4140 chrome-lined 18.5-inch barrel and Typhoon's patented adjustable gas-piston system that tunes for both light and heavy loads. AR-style fire controls, an ambidextrous safety, an over-molded pistol grip, a free-floating M-LOK handguard with heat shield, takedown pins, and polymer flip-up sights round out the platform. It feeds from single-stack detachable steel box magazines in 2, 5, 10, and 20-round drum capacities, accepts Benelli Mobile choke threads, and is sold with three 5-round magazines, four chokes, a sling, and an assembly wrench.
