Overview

The Typhoon X12 is the entry-level model of Typhoon Defense's AR-style 12-gauge lineup. It uses a 7075 T6 aluminum upper paired with a lightweight polymer lower receiver to cut cost and weight while keeping the gas-operated, magazine-fed action, the 18.5-inch 4140 chrome-lined barrel, a tactical muzzle brake, and Benelli Mobile choke threads. AR-pattern controls, a Picatinny top rail, and polymer flip-up sights carry over from the F12. It ships with three 5-round steel magazines, supports 2, 5, 10, and 20-round magazines, and includes flip-up sights, chokes, and a chamber flag. The X12 Max upgrades it with a 6061 aluminum M-LOK handguard for hard-use and competitive shooters.
