Uberti 1873 Cattleman Horseman
A. Uberti · Revolver · In Production
Also known as: 1873 Cattleman Horseman, Cattleman Horseman
Overview
The Uberti 1873 Cattleman Horseman is a single-action revolver, an Italian-made faithful reproduction of the Colt Single Action Army (Peacemaker) of 1873. Chambered most commonly in .45 Colt, and also offered in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, and .22 LR, it feeds from a six-round revolving cylinder loaded one round at a time through a hinged loading gate and cleared with a spring-loaded ejector rod. The Horseman variant sets itself apart from the standard Cattleman with upgraded fire controls: a wider trigger and a smoother, crisper single-action trigger pull for improved control on the range and in cowboy action shooting. It retains the classic Old West profile with a color case-hardened steel frame, blued barrel and cylinder, fixed blade-and-notch sights, and a one-piece walnut grip.

Background
The 1873 pattern Uberti reproduces is the legendary Colt Single Action Army — the "gun that won the West" — and the Horseman trim caters to modern cowboy action shooters who want a slicked-up trigger straight from the box without giving up the authentic 19th-century silhouette.
