Uberti 1875 Outlaw Frank James

The Uberti 1875 Outlaw Frank James is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt, a modern Italian reproduction of the Remington Model 1875 single-action army revolver. Built by A. Uberti and commemorating the outlaw Frank James, brother of Jesse James, who surrendered to Missouri's governor in 1882 while carrying a Remington 1875, this model carries the distinctive triangular web of steel beneath the barrel that visually links the frame to the muzzle, a hallmark of the Remington 1858/1875 lineage. Chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge and feeding from a six-round fluted cylinder, the revolver is loaded one round at a time through a side loading gate and fired by manually cocking the exposed hammer for each shot. The 7.5-inch barrel and full nickel-plated steel finish give the piece its period presentation, complemented by two-piece faux-ivory grips with brass escutcheons and nitre-blued pins and screws. A transfer-bar safety allows all six chambers to be carried loaded, a modern addition to the historic single-action design.
