Overview
The Uberti No. 3 Top Break Schofield is a single-action revolver chambered in .45 Colt, a modern Italian reproduction of the Smith & Wesson Model 3 Schofield of the 1870s. It uses a top-break frame with a spring-loaded stirrup latch that, when opened, tips the barrel and six-shot fluted cylinder forward to simultaneously eject all fired cases for rapid reloading. Built by A. Uberti in Gardone Val Trompia, it pairs period-correct lines with modern steel and an internal hammer-block safety, and is popular for Cowboy Action Shooting, collecting, and Old West reenactment.
