Overview
The Unique Model 17 is a French blowback-operated semi-automatic pocket pistol chambered in 7.65mm Browning (.32 ACP), introduced in 1928 by the Manufacture d'Armes des Pyrenees Francaises (MAPF). It used an internal hammer and a relatively high nine-round magazine. During the German occupation of France it was produced for the Wehrmacht as the 'Kriegsmodell' war model with an exposed hammer and deeper backstrap.
