Overview
The Volquartsen IF-5 is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle whose signature feature is the I-Fluting profile, which removes material to reduce weight while increasing rigidity and improving heat dissipation; the resulting barrel is about 12 oz lighter than a full bull barrel. It uses a stainless steel CNC-machined receiver, a .920 inch stainless steel barrel threaded 1/2 x 28, a Forward Blow Compensator, an integral Picatinny rail, and the TG2000 trigger group. Available in .22 LR, .17 HMR, and .22 WMR with Hogue, sporter, thumbhole, or laminated stocks.
