Overview

The Walther CSP Dynamic is a .22 Long Rifle semi-automatic sport pistol built for dynamic and action shooting disciplines such as IPSC and IDPA-style rimfire competition. Part of Carl Walther's Classic Sports Pistol (CSP) family, it uses a forged-steel frame and slide with a Tenifer QPQ finish, a 150 mm conventionally rifled barrel, an adjustable match trigger, and an extended ambidextrous walnut grip. An integrated 11 mm prism rail lets shooters mount a red dot optic, and its micrometer rear sight and adjustable front sight support precise iron-sight shooting.

Notes

The CSP line replaced the earlier Hämmerli X-Esse pistols. Its design borrows features from Walther's 1936 Olympic pistol, including a single-sided recoil spring mounted eccentrically to the barrel.

Background

The CSP family draws on the lineage of Walther's Olympia sport pistols, whose 1936 Olympic-era design established the eccentric single-sided recoil spring layout still echoed in the modern CSP.
