Walther LG500
Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen · Rifle · In Production · 2020
Also known as: LG500, Walther LG 500
Overview
The Walther LG500 is a 10-metre Olympic match air rifle chambered in .177 (4.5mm) and built on a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) action. Aimed at top-level ISSF competition, it pairs a carbon-fibre-sleeved match barrel with a highly adjustable aluminium stock, diopter target sights, and a finely tunable match trigger. It is offered in several configurations including the Itec, Blacktec, and LG500-M, with the Blacktec serving as a more affordable entry into the 500 series. The rifle delivers a single pellet per shot at low velocity, prioritising extreme accuracy and repeatability over power.
