Overview

The Walther P5 Lang is a rare extended-barrel sporting variant of the Walther P5 service pistol, a locked-breech double-action/single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. Developed in the mid-1980s, it lengthens the P5's slide and barrel to roughly 151 mm, giving a P38-like profile, an increased sight radius, and improved accuracy at longer ranges for target and competition use. Like the standard P5 it retains the aluminum-alloy frame, frame-mounted decocking lever, and unusual left-side ejection.
