Overview
The Warwick WFA1-L is an Australian-designed and manufactured straight-pull bolt action rifle utilizing an AR-15 ergonomic platform. The 'L' stands for 'Light', representing the evolved design of the original WFA1 with reduced weight achieved through a milled bolt carrier and M-LOK handguard replacing the original quad rail. The spring-assisted straight-pull action enables rapid follow-up shots while remaining compliant with Australian Category B firearms legislation. The monolithic upper receiver creates a modular platform with multi-caliber capability, accepting standard AR-15 magazines and featuring tool-less takedown similar to a break-action shotgun.
