Overview

The Watchtower Apache is a full-size double-stack 1911 chambered in 9x19mm, the flagship handgun of Texas-based Watchtower Firearms. It pairs a 4.6-inch compensated stainless barrel with a 17-4 PH stainless frame and 416R stainless slide finished in the company's proprietary graphite PVD. The Apache is optic-ready with an RMR-cut slide, ships with both 17- and 20-round magazines, and wears Watchtower's signature carbon-fiber/Kevlar composite grips, an extended beavertail, an integrated accessory rail, and a flared magwell.

Background

Watchtower Firearms was assembled in Texas around acquired AR and 1911 makers (including the former F-1 Firearms), and the Apache double-stack 1911 became its calling card: a high-capacity, optic-ready take on John Browning's classic platform built almost entirely from billet stainless.
