Also known as: Model 307 Range XP, 307 Range XP, Weatherby Model 307 Range XP
Overview
The Weatherby 307 Range XP is a bolt-action centerfire hunting and precision rifle, a feature-loaded configuration of Weatherby's Model 307 action introduced alongside the platform in 2023. It pairs the two-lug, fully cylindrical 307 action - built to a Remington 700 footprint with an M16-style extractor and 90-degree bolt throw - with a lightweight synthetic vertical-grip stock offering an adjustable cheekpiece and adjustable length of pull. The Range XP ships with a fluted, 1/2-28 threaded barrel capped by a suppressor-ready Accubrake, a Graphite Black Cerakote finish on barrel, receiver and bolt, a TriggerTech Field trigger adjustable down to about 2.5 lb, a two-position safety, and a Magpul AICS-pattern detachable box magazine. Like all Model 307 rifles it carries Weatherby's sub-MOA guarantee of a 0.99-inch or smaller three-shot group at 100 yards from a cold barrel.

Background
The Model 307 is named for Wyoming's area code, marking Weatherby's post-move identity in Sheridan. The Range XP was one of the debut configurations, positioning the new 700-compatible action as an out-of-the-box precision-capable hunter with an adjustable stock and factory sub-MOA guarantee.
