Also known as: Vanguard Camilla, Camilla
Overview
The Weatherby Vanguard Camilla is a bolt-action hunting rifle purpose-built for female shooters, introduced in 2016 as part of Weatherby's Vanguard line. It pairs the proven Vanguard push-feed action with a Turkish A-grade walnut stock featuring a shortened 13-inch length of pull, a raised comb for proper scope-eye alignment, and a slim forearm with a gentle palm swell. Like other Vanguard rifles it carries a match-quality two-stage adjustable trigger, a three-position safety, a hinged floorplate, and a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee with premium ammunition. It is chambered in several short-action cartridges including .308 Winchester.

Notes
Named after Camilla Weatherby, wife of company founder Roy Weatherby. The stock geometry is tailored to female anatomy rather than simply being a scaled-down version of the standard Vanguard.
Background
Roy Weatherby's wife Camilla was a partner in the company from its 1945 founding; the Camilla line of rifles was created to honor her and to fit the line to women hunters.
