Overview
The Weatherby Mark V Accumark is a long-range precision hunting rifle chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum, built on Weatherby's legendary Mark V action featuring a nine-lug bolt design with a 54-degree bolt lift for fast follow-up shots. The rifle features a 26-inch fluted stainless steel barrel with a #3 contour, hand-laminated raised comb Monte Carlo composite stock with a matte gel coat finish, and delivers a SUB-MOA accuracy guarantee of .99 inches or better at 100 yards. The .300 Weatherby Magnum cartridge pushes a 180-grain bullet at over 3,250 feet per second, making the Accumark one of the hardest-hitting factory precision hunting rifles available for extreme long-range applications on large game.

Notes
The Mark V action is one of the strongest bolt-action designs ever produced, with nine locking lugs providing 50% more bolt contact area than conventional two-lug designs. The 54-degree bolt lift is one of the shortest in the industry, allowing fast cycling with large-objective scopes. Roy Weatherby designed the .300 Weatherby Magnum in 1944, and it remains the flagship cartridge in the Weatherby lineup. The Accumark Pro variant adds a carbon fiber stock and Trigger Tech trigger. Weatherby moved its manufacturing from Paso Robles, California to Sheridan, Wyoming in 2019. MSRP is approximately $2,200-$2,600.
Background
Roy Weatherby built his company on the philosophy that speed kills, and the .300 Weatherby Magnum remains a testament to that vision, delivering velocities that exceed most competing cartridges by 200-300 feet per second and anchoring the Accumark as a favorite among guides and hunters pursuing dangerous game at long range.
