Overview

The Weatherby Vanguard Outfitter is an all-weather bolt-action hunting rifle built on the Howa 1500 (Vanguard) action. Aimed at backcountry hunters, it pairs a spiral-fluted, cold hammer-forged barrel threaded 1/2x28 and capped with an Accubrake muzzle brake, a full Graphite Black Cerakote finish over the barreled action, and a tan polymer Monte Carlo stock hand-painted with a brown and white sponge camo pattern. It uses a match-quality two-stage adjustable trigger, a three-position safety, and carries Weatherby's sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. Chambered here in the high-velocity .257 Weatherby Magnum.
