Also known as: WC DMR, Wilson Combat DMR
Overview
The Wilson Combat Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR), introduced at SHOT Show 2026, is a precision-oriented semi-automatic AR-15 chambered in .223 Wylde and built to bridge the gap between a general-purpose carbine and a dedicated precision rifle. It features an 18-inch fluted, match-grade barrel in Wilson Combat's Recon Tactical profile with a 1-in-8 twist and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle wearing a Q-Comp compensator. Billet-machined aluminum upper and lower receivers carry an Armor-Tuff finish over mil-spec hard anodizing, and the rifle is furnished with a Magpul MOE stock, a Wilson Combat/BCM Starburst Gunfighter grip, a 15-inch M-LOK handguard, and a four-pound two-stage Tactical Trigger Unit. With an overall length of 38.25 inches and an empty weight of about 6 lb 14.6 oz, the DMR delivers accurized performance in a fast-handling package.

Background
Unveiled at SHOT Show 2026, the DMR codified the 'designated marksman' role into a single Wilson Combat catalog model - a billet-receiver, two-stage, 18-inch match rifle meant to reach further than a patrol carbine without the weight of a full precision build.
