Overview
The Winchester Model 1300 Slug Hunter is a pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with a 3-inch chamber, purpose-built for deer hunting in shotgun-only regions. It combines the fast-cycling Model 1300 'Speed Pump' twin-action-bar mechanism with a 22-inch barrel offered in rifled or smoothbore form, adjustable rifle sights, and a drilled-and-tapped receiver or cantilever mount for a scope. The Slug Hunter was fed from a tubular magazine and stocked in satin walnut or brown laminate, delivering accurate slug performance out to roughly 100 meters.
