Overview
The Winchester Model 275 is an American slide-action (pump) rimfire rifle chambered for the .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire cartridge. Introduced in 1964 as the magnum-chambered counterpart to the Model 270, it fed from an under-barrel tubular magazine and was aimed at the varmint-hunting and plinking market. Notes
Mechanically identical to the Winchester Model 270 except for the .22 WMR chambering. The Deluxe grade (introduced 1965) featured a fancier checkered or basket-weave walnut stock. Winchester kept no separate serial-number records for these rimfire pumps, so exact production totals are not documented.
Background
The Model 275 belonged to Winchester's early-1960s family of economical pump-action .22s built to compete on price. Sharing its action with the .22 LR Model 270, it gave sportsmen a slide-action option in the hotter .22 Magnum rimfire, but a short seven-year production run has made it an uncommon find among collectors today.
