Overview
The Windham Weaponry MPC (Multi-Purpose Carbine) is a semi-automatic AR-15 pattern carbine chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Built in Windham, Maine on the machinery and by the workforce formerly operating under the Bushmaster name, it uses a direct gas impingement system, a 16-inch M4-profile chrome-lined barrel of 4150 chrome-moly-vanadium steel with a 1-in-9-inch twist, forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers, a six-position collapsible M4 stock, and a removable A4-style carry handle with adjustable dual-aperture sights atop a flat-top Picatinny-railed upper.

Background
Windham Weaponry was founded in 2011 by Richard Dyke, the original founder of Bushmaster, after Bushmaster's operations were relocated following its acquisition by Cerberus/Freedom Group. Dyke bought back the Windham, Maine factory and re-hired many former Bushmaster employees, making the MPC in effect a direct continuation of the classic Bushmaster M4-style carbine lineage.
