Overview
The Zabala Side-by-Side is a 12-gauge double-barrel shotgun built by the family firm Zabala Hermanos in Eibar, in Spain's Basque gun-making country. A hammerless boxlock break-action with a top lever, twin triggers and side-by-side barrels, it is chambered for 12 gauge and offered with fixed or screw-in chokes. Many examples feature automatic ejectors, chrome-lined bores, color case-hardened and scroll-engraved actions, and walnut stocks. Marketed widely for field hunting and clay sports, Zabala doubles are valued as affordable working guns.
