Also known as: Z-008, Zbroyar Tactical, Zbroyar Tactical Pro
Overview
The Zbroyar Z-008 is a Ukrainian bolt-action precision sniper rifle designed by Konstantin Konev and manufactured by Zbroyar. Available in a wide range of calibers from .223 Remington to .338 Lapua Magnum, the Z-008 is a custom-built platform tailored to each client's specific requirements. The proprietary Z-008 action features a bolt with six radial locking lugs arranged in three pairs at the front, locking directly into the receiver for maximum rigidity and consistency. The receiver-to-barrel interface is carefully engineered to relieve the threads from most stress, ensuring sustained accuracy over the rifle's service life. All Z-008 rifles ship with a factory-guaranteed 0.5 MOA accuracy, with many examples delivering accuracy of 0.15 MOA or better with appropriate ammunition and a skilled shooter. The .338 Lapua Magnum configuration features barrel length options of 650mm, 710mm, or 760mm, with a 5-round detachable box magazine. The rifle weighs between 6.0 and 6.5 kg depending on configuration, making it notably lightweight for a .338 Lapua platform.

Notes
The Zbroyar Z-008 gained significant prominence during the Russo-Ukrainian War beginning in 2022, when Ukrainian snipers deployed the rifle extensively against Russian forces. The rifle is hand-built to order, with each example individually fitted and accuracy-tested. Basic model variants include Tactical, Tactical Pro, Hunting, Hunting Pro, Varmint, and Benchrest configurations. Zbroyar was founded in 2007 and has rapidly become Ukraine's premier domestic precision rifle manufacturer. The company also produces the Z-10 and Z-15 series of semi-automatic rifles based on the AR-10 and AR-15 platforms.
Background
The Zbroyar Z-008 has become a symbol of Ukraine's homegrown defense industry, proving that a small company founded just years before a major war could produce world-class precision rifles capable of competing with established Western manufacturers. Ukrainian snipers armed with Z-008 rifles in .338 Lapua have reportedly engaged targets at ranges exceeding 1,500 meters during the defense of their country.
