Angstadt Arms UDP-9i
Angstadt Arms · Carbine · Discontinued · 2019
Also known as: UDP-9i, UDP9i, UDP-9i Integrally Suppressed
Overview
The Angstadt Arms UDP-9i is an integrally suppressed 9x19mm pistol-caliber carbine built on the company's AR-9 pattern billet-aluminum receiver set and feeding from GLOCK-pattern double-stack magazines. Its defining feature is a monolithic integral suppressor built around a 6-inch barrel and a 5.9-inch core, giving an 11.9-inch barrel-and-suppressor assembly with a full-auto-rated 17-4 stainless baffle stack and grade 9 titanium sleeve. A user-adjustable 15-port system lets the shooter tune sound signature and subtract up to roughly 125 fps of velocity, while a vented blast chamber suppresses first-round pop even with 115-grain supersonic loads. It was offered as a 16-inch rifle and a short-barreled configuration before being superseded by the Angstadt Arms Vanquish.

Background
Angstadt Arms was founded in 2014 in Kentucky and built its reputation on billet AR-9 pistol-caliber firearms that run GLOCK magazines; the UDP-9i extended that platform into an integrally suppressed package aimed at quiet, close-range work.
