Overview
The Browning BAR MK 4 DBM Speed is a semi-automatic hunting rifle introduced as a 2026 SHOT Show Special. It updates the long-running BAR platform with a 10-round detachable box magazine and dedicated magazine well in place of the traditional hinged floorplate, paired with a short-stroke gas-piston action and a seven-lug rotating bolt. The Speed model wears a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish on the fluted barrel and receiver with an OVIX camouflage composite stock.

Background
The BAR's lineage traces to John Moses Browning's original Browning Automatic Rifle, but the modern sporting BAR is a wholly different gas-operated design built in Belgium and assembled in Portugal for the hunting market.
