Overview
The CASH Magnum Concussion is a cartridge-powered captive-bolt stunning pistol made by Accles & Shelvoke for humane pre-slaughter stunning of livestock. Fired by a .25 calibre blank cartridge and fitted with a convex, non-penetrating concussion head on a free-flight bolt, it transfers the full force of the charge into the animal's skull to render it instantly insensible without breaking the skin. The cylindrical, trigger-fired tool covers a wide range of animal sizes by selecting the appropriate graded cartridge, from light loads for calves and piglets to heavy loads for large bulls.
