CASH Special Concussion
Accles & Shelvoke Ltd · Pistol · In Production
Also known as: CASH Special Concussion Stunner, Accles & Shelvoke CASH Special Concussion
Overview
The CASH Special Concussion is a cartridge-powered captive-bolt stunning pistol made by Accles & Shelvoke for humane pre-slaughter stunning of livestock. Fired by a .22 (or .25) blank cartridge and fitted with a convex concussion head, it delivers a non-penetrating blow that renders the animal instantly insensible to pain without breaking the skull. The tool retains the pistol-shaped grip, trigger-fired mechanism, automatic bolt return and two-action cocking safety of the standard CASH Special range, and the concussion head can be swapped for a penetrating bolt.

Notes
A concussion (non-penetrating) variant of the CASH Special; the same body accepts a penetrating captive-bolt head. Uses graded Accles & Shelvoke cartridges (e.g. .22 Brown 1G to Black 4.5G, or .25 Pink 1.25G to Red 6G) selected to match animal size. Not a projectile firearm — the bolt is captive and returns into the tool after each strike.
