Overview
The Christensen Arms Modern Precision Tactical (MPT) is a precision bolt-action rifle built on a 7075 billet aluminum chassis with a carbon fiber-wrapped 416R stainless steel barrel. The MPT combines sub-MOA accuracy with tactical features including a folding stock with MagneLock technology for secure lockup, an adjustable length of pull from 12.5 to 14.5 inches, and a carbon fiber handguard with M-LOK attachment points. The TriggerTech flat-faced match trigger provides a crisp, consistent pull. Available in .308 Winchester, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .338 Lapua Magnum, the MPT addresses both tactical law enforcement and precision rifle competition needs while maintaining impressively low weight thanks to carbon fiber barrel and handguard construction.

Notes
The MPT shares the core design of the Modern Precision Rifle (MPR) platform but is optimized for tactical applications. The .308 Winchester version weighs just 7.5 lbs and folds to 28 inches overall, while the .338 Lapua Magnum version features a 27-inch barrel and weighs 6.9 lbs. The chassis includes six quick-detach flush-cup mounts and a 20 MOA Picatinny rail. The MagneLock system uses magnets to lock the folded stock securely in place. AICS-compatible detachable magazines ensure wide aftermarket support.
Background
Christensen Arms pioneered the use of carbon fiber barrel technology in the firearms industry, and the MPT represents the tactical evolution of their carbon-wrapped barrel expertise applied to a purpose-built precision chassis platform.
