FightLite SCR Raider
FightLite Industries · Carbine · In Production · 2019
Also known as: SCR-556PM, SCR Raider Pistol, FightLite Raider
Overview
The FightLite SCR Raider is the compact, pistol-classified version of the FightLite SCR platform. With a 7.25" barrel, 4150 vanadium gas-ferritic nitrocarburized bore, MIL-Spec 8-lug rotating bolt, and a free-floating M-LOK handguard, it delivers AR-15 firepower in an exceptionally lightweight 3.9 lb (1.77 kg) package only 20.25" long. The Raider retains the SCR's signature in-line stock geometry without a pistol grip, classifying it as a pistol under U.S. federal law while still offering the modularity and parts compatibility of the AR-15 platform. Captive push-pin takedown, multi-caliber receivers, and any-AR15-magazine compatibility round out its feature set.

Background
At under four pounds and barely longer than a baseline submachine gun, the Raider sits in a peculiar legal niche - too short to be a rifle, too potent to be a pistol-caliber pistol - embodying the loophole engineering that defines a generation of post-2010 American small arms.
