Notes

Specifications listed are for the ACE-N 22 (5.56x45mm, 335mm barrel) as the representative standard model. The ACE 32 (7.62x39mm, 409mm barrel) weighs 3.5 kg and the ACE 52 (7.62x51mm) weighs 3.8 kg. Civilian semi-auto versions are marketed in the United States by IWI US. The Galil ACE Gen II introduced improvements including a revised handguard and enhanced rail systems.

Background

The Galil ACE retains the legendarily reliable AK-derived operating system of its predecessor while being almost entirely redesigned for modern warfare. Colombia was the launch customer, choosing it to replace their aging original Galil rifles and establishing licensed production through Indumil.
