The G33 is dimensionally identical to the Glock 26 (9mm) and Glock 27 (.40 S&W), sharing frame, slide dimensions, and holster compatibility. The .357 SIG's high velocity from the short barrel produces noticeable muzzle blast and flash, making the G33 the most challenging of the .357 SIG Glocks to shoot comfortably. Compatible with G31 and G32 magazines with grip extensions. Like the G31 and G32, the G33 can be converted to .40 S&W with a barrel swap. The G33 has been discontinued as the .357 SIG market has contracted.
Background
The Glock 33 holds the distinction of being one of the most powerful subcompact pistols relative to its size ever mass-produced. Firing a 125-grain .357 SIG bullet at over 1,280 fps from its 3.43-inch barrel, it generates more muzzle energy than many full-size 9mm pistols. Fans of the G33 called it the 'pocket rocket' for its ability to deliver magnum-class velocity from a package small enough to slip into an ankle holster.
