The G43X bridges the gap between the ultra-compact G43 and the full-size G19. The MOS variant adds an optic cut compatible with the Shield RMSc footprint. The Rail variant adds a slim Picatinny rail for weapon-mounted lights. With Shield Arms S15 steel magazines, the G43X achieves G19-level capacity in a significantly thinner package, making it arguably the best capacity-to-size ratio in the Glock lineup.
Background
The G43X was Glock's answer to the high-capacity micro-compact revolution sparked by the SIG Sauer P365. While Glock initially took a conservative approach with a 10-round single-stack magazine, the aftermarket Shield Arms S15 magazine quickly became one of the most popular firearm accessories in America, giving the G43X 15+1 capacity and making it a direct competitor to double-stack subcompacts in a slimmer package.
