Overview

The LMT 37mm Tactical Single Launcher (37LMTS) is an American single-shot, break-action less-lethal launcher precision-manufactured by Lewis Machine & Tool and marketed by Defense Technology. Chambered for standard 37/38mm less-lethal ammunition up to eight inches in cartridge length, it feeds through a break-open smoothbore breech and uses a double-action Smith & Wesson trigger group. It ships with an expandable ROGERS Super Stoc, an adjustable integrated front grip with light rail, a Picatinny top rail with bead sight, and ambidextrous sling and breech-release controls for crowd-control and tactical deployment.

Notes

Marketed by Defense Technology (a Safariland brand). Chambers 37/38mm less-lethal munitions only; the near-identical 40LMTS variant is chambered for 40mm rounds. Not to be confused with LMT's M203-pattern 37mm flare launchers.

Background

The Tactical Single Launcher pairs a rifle-style ergonomic layout with a single-shot 37mm tube, letting officers deliver impact and chemical-agent munitions from an AR-familiar platform rather than the pistol-grip stand-alone launchers it competes against.
