The Pedersoli 1874 Sharps Buffalo is a modern reproduction single-shot falling-block breechloading rifle built by the Italian maker Davide Pedersoli, faithfully recreating the legendary Sharps buffalo rifle of the American frontier. Chambered in .45-70 Government, it features a 30-inch heavy octagonal barrel, a pistol-grip select walnut stock with German silver forend cap, a double set trigger, a case-colored action, and long-range Creedmoor tang and tunnel front sights. It is prized by black-powder cartridge silhouette and long-range target shooters as well as big-game hunters.
