Overview
The Ruger American Hunter is a bolt-action hunting and precision rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor. Built on the Ruger American Rifle platform, it pairs a heavy-contour, cold hammer-forged threaded barrel and factory Precision Rifle Hybrid muzzle brake with a factory-fitted Magpul Hunter American stock offering adjustable length of pull and comb height plus an M-LOK fore-end. A user-adjustable Marksman trigger, three-lug 70-degree bolt, AI-pattern detachable magazine and one-piece Picatinny rail make it a scope-ready field and target rifle.
