Overview
The Stag Arms STAG-15 is the company's flagship AR-15 platform rifle family chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO/.223 Remington. The base rifle uses a forged and Mil-Spec 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set, an M16 bolt carrier group, a 16-inch 4150 steel button-rifled barrel with 1/7 twist, a mid-length direct-impingement gas system, and Magpul MOE SL furniture. Stag is uniquely known for offering true left-handed variants with mirror-image upper receivers, ejection ports, and bolts.

STAG 15 is a product family - barrel lengths range from 7.5-inch pistol configurations to 24-inch precision uppers. Stag relocated from New Britain, Connecticut to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2019 under new ownership.
Background
Stag Arms made its name as the only major AR-15 builder offering a true mirror-image left-handed receiver - eject port, charging handle, and bolt all flipped - letting southpaws shoot without hot brass flying past their nose.
