Stevens 560 Compact
Stevens · Shotgun · In Production · 2024
Also known as: Stevens 560 Field Compact
Overview
The Stevens 560 Compact is a reduced-dimension version of the gas-operated semi-automatic 560 Field shotgun, built on the same 7075 aluminum-alloy receiver and hard chrome-lined barrel but with a shorter 24-inch barrel and a 13.5-inch length of pull for smaller-statured and younger shooters. It retains the Turkish walnut stock, ventilated rib, fiber-optic front sight and three-choke tube set of the standard 560.

Notes
Caliber recorded as 20 gauge per task directive; publicly listed Stevens 560 Compact SKUs are 12 gauge with a 24-inch barrel and 13.5-inch length of pull, so the 20-gauge chambering here is unconfirmed and the entry carries low data confidence. Verify gauge before publishing.
Background
Compact-stocked semi-auto shotguns let one family gun grow with its shooter; the 560 Compact's toolless-free 13.5-inch pull makes it a common first wing-shooting gun handed down between siblings.
